The 1C Coastal Clipper Cabriolet bus service is returning to Great Yarmouth Seafront
The much-loved 1C Coastal Clipper Cabriolet bus service is returning to Great Yarmouth seafront on Saturday 4th May.
This open-top service, operated by First Bus, runs along Great Yarmouth seafront from Seashore Holiday Park to the Pleasure Beach all day.
Calling at the key seafront attractions of Joyland, the Britannia Pier, Pirates Cove adventure golf, the Marina Centre, the Sealife Centre, Wellington Pier, Merrivale Model Village and the Big Wheel as well as many more, there's no better way to travel around the resort.
The Clipper Cabriolet buses continue all along the East Norfolk coast to Caister-on-Sea (with its wide sandy beach, lifeboat station and amazing fish and chips), then the holiday camps and resorts of Scratby and California and onto the seaside village of Hemsby with its amusements, cafes and adventure golf as well as a great family-friendly beach.
From Saturday 4th May, the service will run along the seafront every 20 minutes, and to and from Hemsby every hour. From Saturday 25th May, the service will increase in frequency, running along the seafront every 15 minutes, and to and from Hemsby every 30 minutes.
During the summer holidays the 1C will run into the evenings, for an unrivalled ride through the illuminations as the sun goes down.
The service is great value too, with single tickets costing no more than £1.50 in Great Yarmouth, and no more than £2.00 to Hemsby, and if you’re making multiple journeys, First Bus offers a great range of day tickets.
