First Bus Enhances Services Across Norwich from 30th March

First Bus is pleased to announce a series of service improvements across Norwich, starting from Sunday 30th March 2025. These changes are designed to enhance connectivity and improve punctuality.

From 30th March, First Bus will begin operating services to three of Norwich’s Park & Ride sites, providing convenient connections between the city centre and Sprowston, Airport, and Thickthorn Park & Ride locations.

Additionally, timetable adjustments will be introduced across the city network to improve service reliability.

Pink Line - 11, 12

  • The Pink Line will now serve Sprowston Park & Ride, enhancing connectivity to the city.
  • Timetable adjustments have been made to improve punctuality across the route.

Turquoise Line - 13

  • A brand-new timetable will be introduced to enhance reliability.
  • Evening journeys will now stop directly outside Thickthorn Park & Ride, complementing the new PR1 Park & Ride service.

Green Line - 14, 15, 16 & 17

  • The 14 service will terminate outside the Big Fry and will operate city-bound via Market Street and Pople Street. The Wymondham-bound route remains unchanged.
  • Overall timetable adjustments will enhance punctuality and coordination with the Turquoise Line 13 between Wymondham and Norwich.
  • Evening journeys will serve the bus stop directly outside Thickthorn Park & Ride, complementing the PR1 Park & Ride service.

Red Line - 23 & 24

  • Sunday and Public Holiday timetables have been adjusted for improved reliability and punctuality.
  • Increased frequency of buses from Queen’s Hills.
  • Monday-Saturday schedules remain unchanged.

Blue Line - 25 & 26

  • Adjustments to the 26A service will improve punctuality.
  • A new additional journey on service 25 at 00:15 from UEA to the Rail Station.
